About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Database Administrator to join our team at Capgemini Polska Sp. z o.o. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based database solutions using Oracle RDS and PostgreSQL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-based database architectures for large-scale applications;
  • Maintain high-performance and scalable database environments;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems;
  • Develop and implement data migration strategies using dumps and snapshots;
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize database configurations for improved efficiency;
  • Create new databases in the cloud using Terraform and manage their lifecycle;
  • Provide expert-level support for database-related issues and perform consultative work on database design and optimization;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud database technologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle Database administration with strong PL/SQL skills;
  • Experience with database migrations and performance tuning;
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases and Linux operating systems;
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS RDS and Terraform;
  • Familiarity with network technologies and korn/bash shell scripts;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
