DevOps Engineer: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure (servers, services, and internal applications) that meet the highest standards of reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and manage development tools to optimize workflows
  • Support the adoption of containerization and infrastructure standards
  • Oversee backups and product version deployments
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance and availability

As a DevOps ambassador, you will provide coaching and guidance to teams on best practices and technologies such as GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and GitLab. Your expertise in infrastructure as code and change management will help drive business growth and efficiency.

Requirements:
  • GCP (including Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, IAM & Admin) – hands-on production experience required
  • Terraform – infrastructure as code and change management
  • GitHub Actions – pipeline setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Networking fundamentals – solid understanding required for cloud-based deployments
  • GitLab and Kubernetes – experience in deployment processes and pipeline design
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills in production environments
About This Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work rotationally across multiple development teams over the course of a year, assessing current DevOps maturity levels, recommending improvements, and supporting teams in implementing best practices. You will have the chance to influence how DevOps practices are embedded across the organization and enable teams to increase autonomy and efficiency.

Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to deliver value through hands-on engineering and internal consulting, while enabling others through coaching and knowledge sharing.
