This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with our engineering team and mobile operators to develop a network stack that supports millions of users. You will come from a system or development background, or be comfortable working in both areas.

You will be self-directed, able to track solutions from design through implementation, and own every step along the way. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend infrastructure to support our platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop secure, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality standards
  • Work closely with QA engineers to identify and resolve issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in Java, JVM, PHP, C++, Scala, or web services
  • Excellent understanding of computer systems, data structures, and algorithms
  • Strong programming skills, including proficiency in at least one programming language
  • Experience with distributed systems, multithreading, and asynchronous programming
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
  • Understanding of RESTful services, HTTP protocol, and network stack
