Role Overview

Advanced Data Engineer - Scala and Big Data Expertise Required

As a key member of our team, you will be working in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. Your primary responsibility will be to create data pipelines using Spark Shell for analysing large-scale data stored in one of the world's biggest Datalakes.

Your work involves collaborating with colleagues from various locations worldwide to develop high-quality solutions. To ensure seamless integration, you will need to manage branches and resolve merge conflicts effectively.

This role demands expertise in Scala, knowledge of Spark, and proficiency in English as your primary language for communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create data pipelines using Spark Shell for data analysis in a global-scale datalake
  • Develop and implement efficient data processing workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions
  • Manage branch workflow and resolve merge conflicts
