Lead DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to oversee the optimization of our development and deployment pipelines. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that these processes are efficient, agile, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize Development and Deployment Pipelines: Streamline development, testing, and deployment processes to ensure efficiency and security.
  • Incorporate Security Practices: Integrate rigorous security measures within the CI/CD pipeline to guarantee secure and compliant released code.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Mastery: Lead the adoption and fine-tuning of Terraform for replicable, secure, and scalable infrastructure setups.
  • Kubernetes Expertise: Direct orchestration and management of containerized applications using Kubernetes, focusing on deployment efficiency and security.
  • Data Stream Management: Oversee the implementation, security, and maintenance of Kafka clusters, ensuring seamless data stream operations.
  • Enhanced Monitoring with Elasticsearch: Harness Elasticsearch for detailed logging, monitoring, and security-oriented data analytics.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Guide and mentor the DevSecOps team, foster collaborations with developers, and cultivate a pervasive culture of security-awareness across all divisions.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging technologies, methodologies, and security trends.
  • Incident Management: Lead the charge in incident response and forensic analysis in the event of security and deployment anomalies.

Requirements:

  • DevOps Experience: 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, particularly in interweaving security practices.
  • Kubernetes Knowledge: Profound understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Terraform.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications like Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), or other pertinent DevOps certifications.
  • Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, and Shell scripting.
  • Security Tools: Acquaintance with a diverse array of security and infrastructure tools.
