Cybersecurity Expert

We are seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer to join our team at NIX Tech Kft.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing web and mobile application vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities, as well as providing support to product owners in fixing vulnerabilities.

• Conduct thorough security assessments of web and mobile applications to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Develop and execute penetration testing strategies to simulate real-world attacks and identify weaknesses.
• Analyze scan findings from SAST and DAST tools and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices and ensure the integration of security into the development lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and continuously develop professional knowledge and skills.

• Strong understanding of web and mobile security fundamentals, including OWASP Top 10 risks.
• Experience with cloud security, Azure, Linux, SQL, network security, and CI/CD principles.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations, such as ISO 27001.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications, such as OSCP or CEH, a plus.
