About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Integration Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Energy Technology Center in Krakow. As a key member of our R&D organization, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of hardware platform development for our HVDC Control & Protection system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the entire hardware development process, from idea generation and requirement gathering to simulation, prototyping, testing, and production release.
  • Take care of system integrity and work closely with adjacent teams, including software and FPGA engineers, product verification engineers, and others.
  • Contribute to testability of designs and influence requirements based on your experience.
  • Participate in simulations, schematics and layout reviews, product release process, prototyping, validation and testing of products.
  • Develop and support local verification infrastructure and setups.
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional experience or participation in end-to-end study projects with building and testing prototypes.
  • Knowledge of hardware design processes and tools (e.g., SPICE, Altium, PADS, CADSTAR).
  • Experience with laboratory equipment, circuit boards testing and measurements, soldering.
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
  • A collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and English language proficiency (at least Intermediate/B1/Technical communication).
