Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Release Manager to join our team at Link Group. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in release/project management within a technology-driven environment, with a strong understanding of change impact assessment and cross-project dependencies.

About the Role

  • Manage end-to-end release processes for complex projects, from scheduling to execution.
  • C coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and infrastructure teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Assess and mitigate risks, managing dependencies between projects and teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business units and technology teams, to ensure smooth change management.
  • Monitor and report on release progress, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvements in release management processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead large and complex releases across multiple teams, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Proven team-building and leadership skills, driving stakeholder influence and conflict resolution.
  • Solid communication and relationship management abilities, working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools, such as MS Project or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with enterprise business environments and procedures, leveraging knowledge of Linux, Oracle, and Java technologies.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in release/project management within a technology-driven environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Confluence, Jira.
  • OpenText WEM knowledge, working knowledge of Linux, Oracle, and Java technologies.
