We are seeking a highly skilled Medior Java Engineer to join our team in Budapest. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems using Java.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality Java software components and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Experience with Spring Ecosystem and RESTful API design.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and metrics tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, CloudWatch).
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ReactJS, JS/TS, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Cloud Foundry, SplitIO).
  • Knowledge of integration development practices, architectures, and technologies (API led, Event Driven, REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, RAML, OAS, JMS).
  • Knowledge of AWS services (ALB, EC2, CloudFront, S3, SQS, RDS Aurora, SES, WAF).
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker container orchestrator.
  • Knowledge of security items (OWASP, Oauth2, SAML, Okta Verify, Vault).
