Quality Assurance Associate Role

About the Role

The Quality Assurance Associate role is a critical part of our team, responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products. As a Business QA Associate, you will be embedded within cross-functional teams from the Business QA discipline, working closely with developers and other stakeholders to identify defects and improve product features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Development: Contribute towards the development of test cases and requirements, ensuring maximum quality is achieved.
  • Defect Identification and Resolution: Identify defects and work directly with developers to resolve these issues.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues and other teams to ensure speed to market following agile practices.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and contribute to the implementation of processes that enhance delivery efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Testing Skills: Experience in testing software products, including knowledge of test tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
  • Agile Methodology: Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and principles.
  • Quality Assurance: Understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
  • ISTQB Certification: ISTQB certification is desirable but not essential.
