Job Description:
  • As a Senior Software Engineer at Dynatrace, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge software applications that operate at massive scale, both in our product and in customer environments.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Your expertise in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and cloud computing will be invaluable in shaping the future of software observability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using modern technologies such as Java, C++, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify requirements and develop software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior team members to ensure high standards of coding excellence.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, guidelines, and best practices to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new tools, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our software development processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a strong background in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS and Azure, and proficiency in languages such as Java and C++.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including test-driven development, clean code, and design patterns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time, with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
