Senior Software Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to take on a leadership role in our team, driving the delivery of scalable SaaS-based data platforms.

About the Opportunity:

This is an excellent chance to collaborate closely with Solution Architects to design and assess complex solutions, lead and coordinate Engineers, manage and execute internal and cross-functional projects, and be a subject matter expert on our platforms and services under development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to design and assess complex solutions.
  • Lead and coordinate Engineers in the delivery of scalable SaaS-based data platforms.
  • Manage and execute internal and cross-functional projects.
  • Be a subject matter expert on our platforms and services under development.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams across regions.
  • Champion good development practices, resolve technical blockers, and ensure high code quality.
  • Support and guide others – help unblock, motivate, and upskill team members.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and propose measurable, risk-managed improvements.
  • Report progress and outcomes against OKRs and KPIs.
  • Actively participate in technical incident resolution and security issue remediation.
  • Stay up to date with technology roadmaps and industry trends.
  • Script, code, and build where needed – hands-on approach required.
  • Collaborate across technology, product, and operations teams.
  • Take ownership of tasks and initiatives assigned by the Director of Technology (Europe).

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a developer/engineer.
  • 3+ years of experience leading engineers and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong coding ability in Python, JavaScript (React or Angular), and Java.
  • Familiarity with large-scale, high-volume SaaS-based data platforms.
  • Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments and/or digital transformation projects.
  • Strong communication skills, leadership mindset, and ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Ability to remove blockers, make decisions, and move things forward.
  • Fluent in English (B2+/C1).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with OKRs/KPIs reporting, DevOps practices, and secure development.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and modern deployment pipelines.
