Job Description:

Our company is a fast-growing fintech startup with a passionate and experienced team, backed by significant pre-seed funding and strategic investors. We enable banks to embed their payment products directly into e-commerce checkout, creating a trusted and more secure bank-branded payment experience.

As a Senior Full-stack Architect, you'll be responsible for leading development efforts, maintaining and enhancing the product using best practices, optimizing integrations with e-commerce platforms, financial institutions, and embedded checkouts, and driving security and reliability standards by implementing industry best practices.

You'll also have the opportunity to participate in code reviews, contribute to the development of the software architecture, and collaborate with leadership to align tech and business goals as we scale.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience, ideally with a significant focus on Node.js and TypeScript
  • Experience scaling a product from MVP to high-traffic production
  • Experience with web frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or Fastify.js
  • Strong knowledge of DB technologies — SQL/NoSQL; familiarity with SQL and ORM/ODM software
  • Knowledge of front-end JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure like GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce) and financial APIs/Open Banking is a plus
  • Experience leading projects or teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with security-driven development (SSDLC) and security compliance frameworks such as SOC2
