Job Title: Database Administrator with German/French

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Database Administrator.

  • Experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on database technology, including MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DB2 is required.
  • Strong knowledge of database systems, including MSSQL, MariaDB, DB2, Oracle, and MongoDB is essential.
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with database monitoring and performance tools is preferred.
  • Understanding of data security, encryption, and regulatory compliance is crucial.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
  • Manage database backups, restoration, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Optimize and tune database performance, including queries, indexes, and storage.
  • Design and implement database schemas, tables, and procedures to support business applications.
  • Install, configure, and maintain database systems.
  • Develop and maintain database documentation.
  • Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patches with minimal downtime.
  • Manage database access and user permissions.
