Lead technical efforts in R&D projects related to autonomous networks, AI for Network, and Telco Cloud (Cloud Native).

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Leader to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading technical efforts within R&D projects related to autonomous networks, AI for Network, and Telco Cloud (Cloud Native). This role requires a strong understanding of AI/ML techniques, including Generative AI and cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in strategic Orange projects with high expected impact on future network operations and automation initiatives.
  • Implement Proof of Concept (PoC) for AI-based network automation processes/solutions (typically with cloud-native infrastructure for 5G networks).
  • Integrate service/network automation solutions with other telco tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes.
  • Contribute to technical decision-making processes and ensure technical excellence across projects.
  • Involvement in both Orange Poland and international projects which have significant impact on business.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Strong understanding of AI/ML techniques, including Generative AI.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Network Automation & Orchestration, and DevOps (linux, bash, git, GitLab CI/CD, GitOps).
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Polish.
  • Programming experience in Python is a plus.

About Us

Our team focuses on developing and integrating Orchestration/Automation solutions using AI with the rest of the Orange Network environment to automate VNF and CNF deployments over the network.
