About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Model Analyst to join our team at Česká spořitelna. As a Risk Model Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our risk models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent validation and review of risk models to ensure they are sound and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Identify potential weaknesses in risk models and assess the impact of key assumptions on model output.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement model improvements.
  • Design and implement challenger models to validate the performance of existing models.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality validation reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.
  • Strong mathematical skills and ability to apply mathematical models to real-world problems.
  • Experience in risk modeling or model validation, with a proven track record of understanding modeling approaches and their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g. SAS, R, Python) and databases (SQL).
  • Creativity, excellent communication skills, and a professional working attitude.
