Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled MQ Administrator to join our team at Avenga. As an MQ Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance and development of queue servers based on IBM MQ. Your primary focus will be on the MQ layer, ensuring the smooth operation of our messaging infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and development of queue servers based on IBM MQ
  • BAU (tickets, incidents, requests, changes) for the MQ layer
  • Implementation of new monitoring tools for the MQ infrastructure
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of MQ-based systems
  • Experience with WebSphere Application Server, Linux, Ansible, and IBM MQ
  • Strong knowledge of high availability environments and Linux/Windows environments
  • Automation and Ansible skills
  • DevOps and cloud experience (nice-to-have)
