Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software solutions by designing and executing tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, including experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position that requires working on-site at our office location.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
  • The Senior QA Engineer will design, develop, and execute automated test plans, scripts, and suites to ensure thorough testing of software applications.
  • They will also identify defects, reproduce issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve problems.
  • This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test plans, scripts, and suites to ensure thorough testing of software applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize testing needs and develop effective test strategies.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, including system crashes, performance issues, and data corruption.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of software applications, systems, and tools, including their functionality, features, and limitations.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that all testing requirements are met and that defects are resolved in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automated testing methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with Python, PyTest, Cypress, and other popular testing frameworks and tools.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
