We are a leading food processing cooperative seeking an experienced developer to join our team. As an Aveva OSIsoft PI MES Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining PI System solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have expertise in manufacturing execution systems (MES) and a solid track record in the food processing sector. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Designing and configuring PI System architecture to ensure effective data integration
  2. Building and managing PI Asset Framework (AF) models for structured data organization
  3. Setting up and maintaining PI Data Archive for optimal data storage and retrieval
  4. Configuring data flows between shop floor systems (PLCs, SCADA) and PI Systems
  5. Facilitating seamless MES integration with PI Systems for end-to-end efficiency
  6. Utilizing PI DataLink for advanced reporting and analysis

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in PI System tools such as PI Vision, PI Data Archive, and PI Integrator
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, and SQL programming
  • Hands-on experience with PI Interfaces, Connectors, and UFL for data integration
  • Familiarity with transferring data between control systems and MES solutions
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on optimizing manufacturing processes
