Cloud Platform Engineer - Senior Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join a high-impact project in the Financial Markets domain. The focus is on developing and evolving a robust Data Analytics Platform in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), which serves as the foundation for analytics, machine learning/artificial intelligence, and risk assessment solutions across the organization.

This critical role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based systems. You will leverage your expertise in GCP services, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Linux system administration to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet the business needs of our clients.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with GCP and public cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) background using Terraform.
  • Experience with managed GCP services: Cloud Run, BigQuery, Dataproc, Vertex AI, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability practices.
  • Hands-on with Kubernetes, Bash, and Linux system administration.
  • Solid programming skills – preferably in Python and/or Go.
  • Understanding of security protocols (OIDC, KMS, TLS, client/server authentication).
Nice to Have:

The following skills would be beneficial but are not required:

  • Background in large-scale distributed platforms and secure application design.
  • Familiarity with data ingestion and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Open-source contributions or DevOps community involvement.
  • Experience in Financial Markets is a plus.
