IT Systems Strategist

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to fill the role of Business Solutions Architect.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system architecting, software development methodologies, and enterprise-level systems design.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive IT systems for our clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project stakeholders.

Required Skills and QualificationsTechnical Expertise

• Experience with database management systems, application servers, communication middleware, web servers, GIS services, directory services, and systems security.
• Knowledge of designing enterprise-level software systems using UML, Archimate, and BPMN notations.
• Proficiency in using systems modeling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect and Aris Architect.

Software Development Methodologies

• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, artefacts, and methodologies such as RUP, ISO12207, and agile methodologies.
• Experience with EA frameworks such as TOGAF and EA management tool expertise.

Certifications and Education

• Master level certificate in a relevant software development technology domain or in architecting software solutions.
• Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or an equivalent certification.

Personal Qualities

• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective documentation skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Proficiency in English (certification is an advantage).
