Agile Business Solutions Architect for Agricultural Insurance Platform

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our team at HBM. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for transforming high-level business requirements into user stories for our engineering team.

About the Role

Our customer is a US-based startup developing an innovative platform for agricultural insurance and finance. The core of the platform is a data management solution that should integrate and harmonize data from several data sources, as well as build the basis for risk modeling.

We expect our ideal candidate to have technical knowledge working with different data sources and structures. They will work closely with the Product Manager on Customer's side and distributed development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with stakeholders to identify their needs and gather detailed requirements
  • Analyze agricultural data from various data sources to identify parameters for risk scoring modeling
  • Prioritize and define product requirements, vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Prepare and maintain various documents such as business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows
  • Meditate between business users and technical teams to ensure clear understanding and effective communication
  • Create customer journeys based on business processes and user needs
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure product goals are achieved
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend further improvements
