Claims Product Leader

About the Role

  • You will be responsible for leading product development and strategy for claims products, working closely with a cross-functional team to identify opportunities and prioritize features.
  • You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand business needs and customer requirements, using your analytical skills to inform product decisions.
  • You will develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, designers, and researchers, to ensure successful product delivery.
  • You will drive product vision and strategy, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
  • You will oversee the development of best practice processes and documentation, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders involved.
  • You will define objectives and metrics for your team and measure how these improve over time, using qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions.
  • You will prioritize work to ensure the team is focused on impactful projects, mitigating risks to delivery and resolving prioritization conflicts effectively.
  • You will proactively build and leverage strong stakeholder relationships, managing expectations and maintaining trust throughout the project lifecycle.

The Claims Team

The Claims Team has ambitious goals to deliver a market-leading claims experience that benefits everyone. We aim to efficiently process claims, getting customers back on the road quickly, and passing savings back to all our customers at new business and renewal.

We are looking for a skilled Product Leader who will help us achieve our goals, working closely with our expanding technology team (encompassing design, product, engineers, and data science).

The successful candidate will need to immerse themselves in the motor claims space, using their product expertise to determine what's truly going to move the needle. They will work collaboratively with the team to build best practice processes, ensuring feature requirements and documentation result in clarity for everyone involved.

They will prioritize work to ensure the team is working on the most impactful projects, mitigating any risks to delivery and resolving prioritization conflicts. They will proactively build and leverage strong stakeholder relationships, managing expectations of impact/delivery, stakeholder dependencies, comms, and expectations early enough to maintain trust and consistency.

Finally, they will deliver a world-class customer experience with the clear reward being improved economics for the business.
