About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a Technical Lead. This key position will play a vital role in shaping the direction of our platform from a technical perspective, driving the full development lifecycle, and collaborating with the team on overall system architecture and design decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and expertise to the engineering team, promoting best practices and innovative solutions.
- System Design and Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Backend Services Development: Develop robust backend services using Java and Spring technologies, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a supportive and inclusive environment, promoting knowledge sharing, open communication, and collective growth.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 10–12 years of hands-on experience in software development with Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid track record of building APIs and working with microservices.
- Comfortable working with both relational and non-relational databases.
- Good understanding of testing techniques and tools.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work well with others.
Desirable Skills and Experience
A strong background in DevOps tools and practices (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) would be beneficial. Additionally, experience with UX concepts, user-centric design, and Agile methodologies is highly valued.
