Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Document Editing Team Director to lead our Editor Unit in delivering seamless and efficient document editing capabilities within the pdfFiller product. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the technical direction, overseeing development and delivery of new features and enhancements, and ensuring high-quality code through best practices and regular code reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, focusing on web applications
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional engineering teams (from 4-5 people)
  • Proven expertise in frontend (React, Redux) or backend (Node, Redis, Go) technologies
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure tools like Kubernetes (K8s)
  • Track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and performant applications
  • Strong knowledge of modern development practices, including CI/CD, testing, and monitoring
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience in mentoring and developing engineers at different levels of seniority
  • Proficiency in English (B2 or higher), both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian
