Data Scientist for Predictive Maintenance

At E-Group ICT Software Zrt., we are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team in a critical project focused on predictive maintenance modeling and deployment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, data science, and data engineering, with specific experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models for predictive maintenance.

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models focused on predictive maintenance
• Work closely with software developers and data engineers to integrate models into the existing infrastructure, ensuring that models are scalable, efficient, and maintainable
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy test bed environments that simulate real-world conditions
• Monitor model performance, refine models to improve accuracy and efficiency, and reduce false positives in predictive maintenance alerts
• Maintain thorough documentation of models, data pipelines, and processes, communicating findings and model performance to stakeholders through clear and actionable reports

Additionally, you will be expected to remain up-to-date with industry practices and emerging technologies such as generative AI and explore creative ways of offering AI solutions to enhance existing solutions. • Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
• Preferably 3+ years of experience in data science and/or machine learning roles, with a focus on predictive modeling and experience with predictive maintenance projects
• Proficiency in Python programming language and nice to have R, or Java; experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, and experience with neural networks
