We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Link Group. As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing pipelines using Python and SQL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain ETL data pipelines using Python and SQL to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
  • Data Storage Solutions: Implement and manage data storage solutions, including relational databases and data warehouses, to ensure high-performance and scalability.
  • API Integrations: Build integrations with external APIs and internal systems to enable efficient data exchange and facilitate business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.
  • Data Quality and Analysis: Perform data analysis and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability, and monitor system performance to optimize data infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Linux environments; experience with DevOps pipelines, particularly Azure DevOps Services; knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Podman.
  • Data Modeling and Database Management: Strong data modeling and database management skills, particularly with relational databases (PostgreSQL); understanding of data architecture and its alignment with business objectives.
  • Machine Learning and Analytics: Familiarity with machine learning platforms (Databricks, MLflow) and distributed processing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark/PySpark); understanding of data orchestration tools (Apache Airflow).
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work closely with data scientists and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data infrastructure within the organization.
