Ruckus Networks empowers its customers to deliver exceptional experiences through the power of innovative wireless and wired connectivity solutions. Our Venue and Campus segment offers dedicated engineering and Customer Service and Support (CSS) resources to customers across various verticals, ensuring seamless network performance and reliability.

We're looking for a seasoned Staff Technical Support Engineer to join our Technical Customer Experience Centre (TAC) team. This role requires a technical expert who can serve as the primary point of contact for our premium enterprise wireless customers, providing superior levels of service and issue resolution.

The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to adapt to changing circumstances, and have strong communication and customer management skills. They will also have a deep understanding of wireless networking principles, including TCP/IP, L3 routing, L2 switching, Multicast, firewalls, QOS, and more.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality technical support to customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of network issues.
  • Maintaining close relationships with customers, field teams, and management to facilitate seamless collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to address new and existing defects, as well as proactively engaging with customers to support upcoming changes.
  • Creating knowledge articles, guides, and internal training materials to enhance team capabilities.
  • Mentoring junior team members to foster growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in a computer-related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in the networking space with a strong focus on wireless networking.
  • 3+ years work history in an enterprise Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer management skills.
  • Deep knowledge of industry-standard technologies, including wireless protocols and security measures.
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as CWNA, CWAP, CCIE, CCNP, JNCP, etc.
