Collections Leadership Role

C.H. Robinson is a leading global logistics company seeking an experienced Collections Supervisor to oversee our US customer portfolio during second shift hours.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled professional to manage workflows, resolve complex issues, and implement process improvements to enhance performance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of fostering teamwork, mentoring, and coaching others while driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the completion of all work on assigned Collections team
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, promotion, and alignment of qualified talent
- Outline employee role accountabilities and expectations; manage performance to drive the right behaviors and improve results
- Provide real-time coaching, development activities, and stretch assignments
- Support employees with problem resolution and workflow management
- Partner with trainers to close knowledge and skill gaps
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational effectiveness
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving accounts receivable operational goals, understanding department P&L, and protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Logistics
- Minimum 1 year of applicable experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections or related finance operations processes
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience fostering teamwork, mentoring, and coaching others or managing a team
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Ability to travel up to 10% (domestically)
