Electrical Engineering Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, instrumentation, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development and specification of unit control systems, instrumentation, and low-voltage wiring for rotating machinery in industrial applications.
  • Creation of P&IDs, instrument lists, control logics, wiring schematics, and panel layouts.
  • Selection and specification of instrumentation and control valves based on project requirements.
  • Compliance assurance with international standards and customer specifications.
  • Execution of factory and site acceptance tests (FAT/SAT) for control systems.
  • Coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and customers for project execution.
  • Support for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems.
  • Enhancement of engineering processes with a focus on COMOS PT development and requirements management.
Requirements

The following skills and qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical, instrumentation, controls, or automation engineering or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in instrumentation or controls within heavy industries (e.g., oil and gas, power generation, petrochemical, process, manufacturing/packaging equipment).
  • Strong knowledge of international standards (API, DIN/EN, ISO, EX-protection).
  • Fluent English for effective communication in a global work environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are preferred:

  • Knowledge of industrial rotating equipment (compressors, turbines, motors, generators, pumps, gears).
  • Experience in supplier sales, commercial processes, and contract execution.
  • Application experience with object-oriented engineering software (e.g., COMOS PT).
  • Knowledge and use of software: Teamcenter, SAP, Jira, Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in offshore/onshore installation and commissioning.
  • International business experience and a team-oriented mindset with networking and collaboration skills.
