Salesforce Architect

Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead the technical delivery of Salesforce implementations, driving the development of custom solutions and integrations. They will be responsible for defining technical solutions based on project requirements and owning the solution, integration components, and how they fit into the Salesforce architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
• Implement solutions that support business objectives
• Lead the technical delivery of Salesforce implementations
• Develop custom solutions and integrations
• Review and approve technical design
• Mentor the project team on technical aspects

Requirements:

• Intermediate knowledge of DevOps practices in general and DevOps toolchain for Salesforce in particular
• Knowledge of different types of environments, deployment techniques, version control flows, etc.
• Experience in agile development and iterative delivery methodologies
• Deep understanding of Salesforce governor limits and performance optimization techniques
• Ability to design solutions that can scale both horizontally and vertically
• Understanding of security best practices for web applications in general and security requirements for Salesforce apps in particular

Desirable Skills:

• Good point of view of upcoming tech offerings in Salesforce
• Significant breadth of knowledge about Salesforce ecosystem
• Able to create complex solutions using mix of Salesforce and AppExchange products
• Aware of Salesforce best practices (Trigger framework, exception handling, governor limits)
• Good knowledge on SOQL (able to build relationship queries to fetch required data in single query)
