Mission Statement

Our team is working on an open-source robotics framework that consists of multiple packages and resources. We need a software engineer with DevOps expertise to maintain our automated build and test pipeline, ensuring seamless usage by the MRS team and users with minimal friction.

The deployment pipeline should guarantee the usability of the software and provide users with the ability to upgrade or downgrade depending on their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain a CI/CD deployment pipeline for our robotics framework.
  • Update and improve the deployment pipeline for upcoming packages while assisting system developers with integration into the pipeline following the BDD framework.
  • Maintain the robotics framework from the build and deployment perspective, releasing new versions of systems for users, and assist with documentation and usability.
  • Monitor new versions of dependencies and related software, incorporating them into the system regularly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Docker container system.
  • Linux OS and shell scripting.
  • Git and GitHub Actions.
  • English language proficiency (written and spoken).
Desirable Competencies
  • Robot Operating System (ROS) framework.
