You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, QA, Technical Writing, and peer engineering teams, to ensure that security is embedded at every level of the development process.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of technical management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Proven track record of managing projects through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) and delivering products on time
  • Dedicated focus on customer needs and feedback
  • Experience with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
  • In-depth knowledge of quality assurance best practices
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in Software Security concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Familiarity with security certifications like FIPS and Common Criteria
  • Experience managing vulnerability remediation programs
  • Working knowledge of cryptography, network security, and their relationship to control and data planes
  • The ability to balance usability against security
  • Proven ability to evolve the SDLC as it relates to security concerns, including penetration testing, OSS scanning, static code analysis, and dynamic code analysis
  • Familiarity with emerging security trends (such as ransomware)
