Data Architect

Transform data into impactful insights and propel business growth with a career as a Data Architect. At BlueThrone, we're looking for a skilled professional to own the infrastructure that powers our mobile app portfolio.

About this role:

  • Design scalable data architectures to support the fast-evolving needs of our growing portfolio of mobile apps.
  • Owning the full data lifecycle, from extraction and transformation to storage, modeling, and analysis.
  • Leverage emerging trends and technologies to drive innovation and improvement in our data solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, growth, and analytics teams to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions.

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
  • Cloud data warehouse expertise, including BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
  • Hands-on experience with dbt, including advanced usage of macros, testing frameworks, and packages.
  • Strong Python skills for data-related scripting and pipeline development.
  • Orchestration tool proficiency, including Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
  • Solid experience building BI dashboards and tools.

Above all, you'll need excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders.

This is a hands-on role where curiosity, autonomy, and execution are everything. If you thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment and love driving impact through data, let's talk.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with Kafka, Airbyte, or RudderStack for real-time or batch data ingestion.
  • Familiarity with Metabase as a BI tool.
