Job Description

As a Managed Cloud Database Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' databases. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases across various customer environments and DB engines.

You will work closely with our team to design and implement solutions that meet our clients' needs, including high availability and disaster recovery solutions. You will also be responsible for migration projects to move database workloads to the cloud, as well as building solutions to automate the DBA Service.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of PostgreSQL architecture, as well as experience working with external customers. You should also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to communicate complex technical topics effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PostgreSQL DBA experience: 3+ years
  • Good understanding of PostgreSQL architecture
  • High availability and disaster recovery solutions for databases
  • Migration techniques and technologies
  • Performance tuning skills
  • Skills in automation and scripting
  • Experience working with external customers
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics in English
  • Cloud expertise (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Hands-on Linux experience with PostgreSQL installation, upgrade, and patching
