Weblogic Administrator Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Weblogic Administrator Engineer to join our team at Sopra Steria Poland. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our Weblogic application stacks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the health status of Weblogic domains
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot Weblogic-related systems
• Maintain and amend procedures and internal documentation
• Report to the Technical Lead and/or management team
• Write and maintain custom scripts to automate tasks and reduce human intervention time
• Participate in meetings and training related to the European Commission environment
• Participate in shift and on-call rotation
• Liaise with other technical teams for problem resolution
• Provide customer support for applications running on Weblogic servers

Requirements:

• WebLogic administration and security expertise
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Fluent in English
• Proven experience with UNIX/Linux-based environments
• Solid experience in Weblogic administration and performance tuning
• Experience with monitoring systems (Dynatrace)
• Basic scripting skills (shell scripts, Perl, Python)
• Basic Oracle database and SQL knowledge
• Basic cloud experience, preferably in AWS
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes clusters
• ITIL knowledge
