About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect to design, build, and deploy scalable data processing systems using cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Redshift, RDS, and S3. They will also have proficiency in Python scripting, SQL skills, and experience with data transformation tools like Databricks and Spark.

  • Design and build scalable data processing systems using cloud technologies;
  • Evaluate and translate technical design to workable technical solutions/code;
  • Drive creation of re-usable artifacts;
  • Establish efficient automated processes for data analysis, data model development, validation, and implementation;

The Senior AWS Data Engineer will work closely with analysts/data scientists to understand impact to downstream data models. They will write efficient and well-organized software to ship products in an iterative release environment. The successful candidate will also contribute to promoting good software engineering practices across the team.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
