Job Title: Actuarial Pricing Model EngineerJob Summary:We are launching an MLOps initiative to modernize actuarial pricing model development by integrating best practices in machine learning operations. Our goal is to increase efficiency, reproducibility, and scalability in a production environment.This role involves creating continuous integration templates for model development, ensuring version control, testing, and reproducibility of our actuarial pricing models and datasets. You will work closely with the ML Engineering team and actuaries to audit and optimize model training pipelines' reliability and scalability.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient algorithms for actuarial pricing models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automated workflows for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code using DevOps methodologies (CI/CD) and experience implementing Github Actions workflows.
  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) to deploy and manage models.
  • Contribute to the development of an AI-powered platform leveraging GenAI to accurately extract, analyze, and categorize information from large volumes of documents.
Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong background in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Data Science frameworks (pandas, pyspark, sklearn, shap) and MLOPS frameworks (MLFlow, Kedro/Airflow, Hyperopt/Optuna, Great Expectations) in Python.
  • Experience with building GenAI agentic workflows using Langchain or smolagents.
  • Basic familiarity with Dashboarding tools (PowerBI/Tableau).
  • Thorough understanding of DevOps methodologies (CI/CD) and experience implementing Github Actions workflows.
  • Experience with serving models with APIs using Flask or FastAPI.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum boards.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and compliance regulations.
