We are seeking an experienced Expansions Specialist to play a key role in shaping and executing our company's expansion strategy in Hungary.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in real estate, preferably in an expansion or commercial department. They will possess excellent market knowledge, including understanding of local lease contracts, and a university degree in business, economics, construction, or legal fields.

The successful candidate will be fluent in Hungarian and English, both written and spoken, with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, proactiveness, decision-making ability, and self-motivation. A valid driving license and willingness to travel are also essential.

Responsibilities
  • Market monitoring: Identify new location opportunities (premises, land plots, projects) and closely observe competitors' activities and real estate market trends
  • Strategy development: Participate in the creation and updating of the national expansion strategy
  • Business planning: Gather necessary data, prepare presentations and business plans, and present new opportunities to executive management
  • Collaboration: Work closely with construction, finance, operations, and legal departments during the due diligence process of new locations
  • Negotiations: Manage contract negotiations and agreements with landlords
  • Relationship management: Build and maintain professional relationships with landlords, developers, mall operators, investment funds, brokers, state institutions, and retailers in Hungary
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and support the Expansion Director

The estimated salary for this position is approximately 6,500,000 HUF per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
