Job Overview

Mitsui High-Tec (Europe) Sp. z o.o. is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

This is a key position responsible for coordinating and tracking actions of internal Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) related to the implementation of customer projects from nomination to SOP (+3 months post SOP).

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track actions of internal CFTs, ensuring timely completion of tasks and effective project management;
  • Direct communication/cooperation with Technical Engineering Launch & Equipment Engineering Teams in overseas head-office, as well as External Sales Teams in Japan and Germany;
  • Create and manage project schedules, updating and reporting on progress;
  • Track and report on Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), including all required documentation;
  • Monitor and control project budget, ensuring efficient use of resources;
  • Closely cooperate with engineering department, providing support as required, such as supplier meetings and meeting with overseas teams;
  • Efficiently share information to avoid task overlap, while ensuring mutual support for effective task completion;
  • Handover project to production under Program Manager supervision;
  • Anticipate potential project risks, identifying corrective actions/countermeasures;
  • Lead/participate in regular meetings to report/project progress: Internal CFT, Production preparation meeting with overseas Technical Engineering Launch team, Project review meetings with customer;
  • Report directly to Program Manager regarding project progress, issues, critical items;
  • Assist Program Manager in requested tasks related to general functioning of the Project Management department.

Requirements

  • Project management experience, preferably in the automotive industry;
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, both within the company and externally;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency;
  • Strong organizational skills: time and task management;
  • Analytical, problem-solving skills;
  • Fluent English level;
  • Positive attitude and adaptability/flexibility a must.
