DevOps Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Aristocrat. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing production environments, with experience in Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Kafka, HAProxy, and Redis.

The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong customer service attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

  • Administering web platforms in Production/UAT — On-premises and cloud environments;
  • Maintain, support and set up IT infrastructures;
  • Creating automation using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell;
  • Develop monitoring solutions;
  • Microsoft servers administration;
  • Linux servers administration;
  • IIS, Apache, Nginx administration and troubleshooting.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability;
  • Provide outstanding technical expertise and guidance to colleagues;
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures to drive excellence;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of experience managing Microsoft and Linux Production environments.
  • Proven expertise with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Kafka, HAProxy, and Redis.
  • Strong ability to diagnose and resolve issues on both Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Proficient in Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms with a track record of successful implementations.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and a strong customer service attitude.
  • Willingness to address critical incidents outside of regular business hours to ensure system stability.
