About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead our Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Tax team for 9 months. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will oversee the evaluation of client information, provide quality control for FATCA, QI, CRS/Tax Transparency and GPB USP procedure forms validation, and assist the business in managing compliance with FATCA, QI, CRS, and GPB USP policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for handling 1LOD enquires of CTR (Client Tax Reporting) documentation and classification.
  • Oversee performance assurance & review and control over the overall quality of tax documentation.
  • Assist the business to manage and comply with its obligations related to FATCA, QI, CRS, and GPB USP policies.

As part of our CLM function, you will be responsible for evaluating the quality of client information gathered, provided and consolidated for the client onboarding, customer due diligence (CDD), KYC, and client tax documentation and tax classification. Our objective is to centralise FCC, CDD and relevant Policy knowledge within CLM, to better support the front office with ensuring consistency, quality and validation for UK Private Bank (PBUK).

This role requires a strong working knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), tax transparency or regulatory compliance and controls within the banking and financial services industry. Private Banking or Wealth Management experience is desirable.
