We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of the infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our database services.

About the Role

In this role, you will be working closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration of databases into our applications. Your primary focus will be on providing automated services, utilizing CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as code. You will also participate in the development of future standards with our architecture team and PO, driven by business needs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Mature database services to provide automated services, CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as code.
  • Participate in development of future standards with architecture team and PO, driven by business needs.
  • Focusing on business requirements and understanding of the value chain to deliver right solutions.
  • Actively managing and performing Root Cause Analysis and reviews to prevent issues.
  • Analysing and optimizing database performance to optimize infrastructure utilization.
  • Providing guidance to less experienced team members to share knowledge.
  • Actively working together with members of other teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Driving and participating actively in Task Forces and Focus Groups to improve operational stability.

You may also be required to participate in 24/7 on-call support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with MS SQL and Windows Server.
  • Knowledge of Azure and SQL databases.
  • Experience with Power BI server maintenance and reports creation.
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and SAFe methodologies.
  • Shell scripting and Ansible Tower experience is an advantage.
