Java Microservices Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Backend Developer for a transformative initiative delivering a modern Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform.
Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain scalable microservices in Java/Spring ecosystem
- Develop and expose RESTful APIs and integrate with cloud services
- Collaborate in code reviews, architecture discussions & support onboarding of junior developers
- Debug, optimize performance, and fix production issues
- Engage actively in agile processes and work closely with cross-functional teams
- 5+ years of commercial Java development experience
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven, REST APIs, microservices
- Solid SQL skills and experience with Git
- Familiarity with message queuing systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub)
- Understanding of cloud platforms (GCP preferred, or AWS/Azure)
- Good English speaking and writing skills - minimum B1/B2 level
- Experience with BPMN and workflow engines (e.g., Camunda)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices
- Experience with distributed tracing, monitoring, and observability tools
- Background in performance tuning and production incident handling
- Involvement in mentoring, code reviews, and technical leadership
- Maintain backend infrastructure including data storage and processing
- Build and deploy new features using Java/Spring framework
- Work closely with other teams to resolve technical issues
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot problems
