The role of Strategic Oil Market Analyst (Oil and Gas) involves analyzing market trends, pricing, and data to support our trading strategies and business decisions. Your insights will be instrumental in identifying opportunities and risks in the market, helping us optimize our trading operations and maximize profitability. You'll work closely with traders based in Geneva and create analyses for the global market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze market data, including trends, pricing, and supply-demand dynamics.
  • Prepare regular market reports and forecasts to inform trading strategies and business decisions.
  • Assist in the development of trading strategies by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor and analyze pricing trends for oil and gas products, recommending adjustments to pricing strategies as needed.
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of market insights with business operations.
  • Identify market risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Present analysis and findings to senior management and other key stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organizational abilities, and effective communication skills. Proficiency in market analysis software, Microsoft Office Suite, Power Query, Power Pivot, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Python is required. Additionally, experience in international projects and a willingness to grow professionally are valued assets.
