Our organization is seeking an experienced professional to play a pivotal role in shaping our data management strategy.

This Data Governance Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust data governance frameworks that align with business objectives.

  • Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining metadata repositories, MDM systems, and data quality solutions to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong subject matter expertise on data protection and compliance requirements, ensuring regulatory obligations are met.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build relationships with stakeholders, influence decision-making, and drive consensus on data-related matters.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data governance is essential for applying knowledge to improve our data management capabilities.

Requirements:

  • At least 4-5 years of experience in data quality, data governance, data management, or data migration.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, spreadsheets, and reporting/BI tools.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and change management.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of recognized frameworks/standards such as DMBOK.
  • Experience with common platforms for data cataloging, MDM, and data quality.
  • Facilitation skills for workshops and broad stakeholder communications.
