Senior Bioinformatics Scientist

SOTIO Biotech is a leading biotech company that specializes in cancer immunotherapy. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatics Scientist to join our Research and Development team in Prague, Czech Republic.

• Apply advanced computational and bioinformatics methods to analyze large-scale genomic data, including RNA-seq, NanoString, and other next-generation sequencing technologies.
• Develop and implement statistical models to identify predictive biomarkers and assess drug efficacy in immuno-oncology approaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate bioinformatics insights into early discovery and clinical development projects.
• Analyze publicly available cancer genetic expression datasets, including TCGA and GEO datasets, to identify potential therapeutic targets and develop predictive models.

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.
• Proven experience in programming languages such as R, Python, or MATLAB, and familiarity with relevant bioinformatics tools and software.
• Demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
• Fluent English language skills (written and spoken).
