Job Summary:

As a Forecasting Analyst at Schleich GmbH, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and maintaining 18-month rolling forecasts for assigned sales regions. You will also play a key role in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, facilitating and leading monthly Demand Review meetings for management sign-off.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement forecasting models to improve accuracy and reduce errors
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify patterns and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders using clear and concise reports
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field
  • Proven experience in S&OP and Forecasting within an international environment, preferably in the CPG/FMCG sector
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Capacity for collaborative planning and problem-solving, with a results-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with forecasting software
  • Working knowledge of Python (pandas, matplotlib, NumPy) and SAP is beneficial
