About the Role: Software Engineer (Python)

We're looking for an experienced software engineer who will be part of our top talent engineering team. In this position, you will build great products, tackle intriguing challenges, and contribute to our engineering culture.

We are currently building our core engineering team - after initial 6 month contract we are willing to offer long-term employment.

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable systems using modern software and infrastructure technologies. You will collaborate across engineering, data, and product teams to deliver high-impact features.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable systems using modern software and infrastructure technologies
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver high-impact features
  • Develop and maintain APIs, services, or system modules
  • Work with containers and orchestration tools to deploy and monitor distributed microservice architectures
  • Ensure system reliability, security, and observability
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Python programming language
  • Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of REST APIs and relational databases
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with timeseries data and TSDBs (e.g., TimescaleDB, InfluxDB)
  • Knowledge of IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT)
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
  • Exposure to microservices architectures and real-time data processing
