PostgreSQL DBA

As a highly skilled PostgreSQL Database Administrator at Citibank Europe PLC, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization's database technology infrastructure. With multiple years of experience in PostgreSQL and preferably Oracle, you will be responsible for providing guidance and direction in this area to support platforms and sectors.

Your primary objective will be to apply the discipline of engineering to deliver critical PostgreSQL DB platform support and optimize platform/sector functionality. You must have a deep understanding of the supported platforms and areas to minimize risks and impact on customers. This includes reviewing issues and escalations as well as resolving production problems in a timely manner.

To excel in this role, you should possess strong communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly in high-pressure situations. You should also enjoy learning and sharing your knowledge with others, work independently, and be self-directed. A detail-oriented and persevering individual with a positive attitude and drive to get the work done is essential.
